Name, then role: a three-frame stagger

Rakuten x Codex: Recovery Time Reduced by 50% · OpenAI · 0.000000–0.500500s Official source ↗
12 source frames · 23.976 fps · silent

Frame controls load this short excerpt into the browser for reliable seeking, even without server byte-range support.

Click a sampled state to seek. These anchors are not exact event onsets.

Observed. The complete name appears at f3 (0.125125s); the complete two-line role block follows at f6 (0.250250s). The three-frame interval is 125.125 ms. The caption plate enters with the name while the presenter continues changing pose.

Choreography. Presenter already active → name and caption in one step → role in one step → both identity blocks hold. No letter-by-letter build or entrance fade is resolved in these frames.

Adaptation. With original identity text, stagger the complete name and role blocks without tying their entry to a fabricated blink or spoken cue. Any chosen delay is an adaptation, not an official preset.

Limit. This 0.5005-second excerpt shows only the identity entrance and an initial hold, not the full subsequent performance or an exit. The original identity remains through the source ending. No soundtrack relationship, easing or all-pixel motion coverage is claimed.

Inspection: Existing primary and independent consecutive-frame previews, selected native regions and informed boundary rechecks; no moving playback or listening credit. Native-cadence encode; stepping uses decoded frame timestamps, not a 30 fps assumption.

A quiet hold conceals a picture discontinuity

Rakuten x Codex: AI can empower you · OpenAI · 3.169833–4.170833s Official source ↗
24 source frames · 23.976 fps · silent

Frame controls load this short excerpt into the browser for reliable seeking, even without server byte-range support.

Click a sampled state to seek. These anchors are not exact event onsets.

Observed. At f82 (3.420083s), head and glasses, apparent eye-line, thumb contact, wrist/watch and sweater folds change together. The following frames retain that new arrangement, then show smaller intermediate movements. The identity overlay keeps its screen position.

Choreography. Relatively stable outgoing configuration → simultaneous multi-region step → incoming configuration → continuing hand action. Stable background framing does not prove continuous presenter action.

Adaptation. When editing original talking-head footage, compare face and hands on both sides of the cut. Keeping the lower third in place can preserve graphic continuity, but does not make the subject discontinuity disappear.

Limit. The boundary is observed; a jump cut is probable, not proven from an edit project. Rapid between-frame action or an upstream missing interval cannot be excluded. This 1.001-second context does not contain the full later gesture or its settle. No removed duration or audio relationship is inferred.

Inspection: Existing primary and independent consecutive-frame previews, selected native regions and informed boundary rechecks; no moving playback or listening credit. Native-cadence encode; stepping uses decoded frame timestamps, not a 30 fps assumption.

Prompt grows along one fixed line. The caret advances in discrete endpoint jumps; increments can contain more than one character, such as ne at88. Irregular holds break the cadence. Question mark appears202, then text holds through207. Composer size, chip and mic remain visually held; no pointer, click, selection or hover transition is resolved in the inspected composer.

Interrupting and Adding Details in GPT-5.4 Thinking · native f209–332 · [6.974000, 11.111000) seconds

The empty-composer caret blinks during waiting and response states. Native off transitions are f225, f255, f270, f294 and f324; on transitions are f240, f269, f279 and f309. The f269 return lasts one native frame, 34 ms, before the f270 placeholder replacement. No forced regular blink rate is inferred.

Timing: Native frame timestamps; event onsets are approximate unless explicitly identified. These are frame-state notes, not continuous-motion measurements.

Reconciled correction / qualification

When the shorter middle caption appears at f92, exposed fabric around and below it forms a visibly softer/lighter rectangular-looking patch. The fabric appears different and more continuous at f93. This detail was missing from the primary record.

Timing: one native frame; surrounding frames f88-99 inspected These are frame-state notes, not continuous-motion measurements.

The encoded appearance is visible; intentional blur, erasure, inpainting, compression damage, compositing method and causation are not established. Do not turn it into an intentional animation recipe. No similar clear patch was resolved in the re-opened f0-11 and f116-127 torso windows. That negative observation is local, not a corpus-wide check.

Primary and independent reviewers opened every consecutive full-composition preview and selected native regions. These are still-image traversals, not moving playback or all-pixel native-resolution reviews. Full-composition preview scale: 0.3333×.

Inspection limitations and source hash
  • Both whole-timeline examinations are still previews at one-third scale, with selected native regions. They are not moving-footage reviews or every-pixel inspections.
  • Exact tiny drift/settle, low-level background variation, unseen native regions, input modality, offscreen response state and all sound claims remain unresolved or unverified.
  • No complete corpus pass has occurred. The new omission resets any clean sequence, already zero; local informed rechecks do not substitute for two complete corpus passes.

Primary and independent reviewers opened every consecutive full-composition preview and selected native regions. These are still-image traversals, not moving playback or all-pixel native-resolution reviews. Full-composition preview scale: 0.5×.

Inspection limitations and source hash
  • Both full-timeline traversals used 50%-scale full-frame previews and selected native regions, not native-resolution inspection of every pixel in every frame.
  • The independent reviewer did not open primary findings before sealing. Its initial unfiltered manifest read nevertheless prevents certifying zero pre-image exposure to automated telemetry. A new allowlisted source-view.json input exists for future blind reviews; it does not repair this history retroactively.
  • Actual playback cadence, smoothness, tiny camera/background drift, audio and the cause of the f92 irregularity remain unverified.
  • Graphic surroundings, repeated fine hand movements and foreground/background edge misclassification are now explicit recheck classes for the entire in-scope corpus. That systematic corpus recheck has not happened.
  • The discovery of omitted details prevents a clean result. Neither of these frame-based records satisfies REVIEW_CONTRACT.md's moving-footage or complete corpus-pass gate.

Primary and independent reviewers opened every consecutive full-composition preview and selected native regions. These are still-image traversals, not moving playback or all-pixel native-resolution reviews. Full-composition preview scale: 0.5×.

Inspection limitations and source hash
  • The initial independent report's no-visible-cut statement is superseded by the separately recorded local correction; it must not be silently copied to a site study.
  • Both full-frame traversals were at 50% scale. The extra 24 complete native frames belong to the post-seal boundary reinspection, not to the original blind coverage or an all-frame native-resolution claim.
  • Both reviewers withheld primary findings before the initial independent seal, but the independent unfiltered manifest read prevents certifying zero pre-image detector-telemetry exposure. Future source-view.json inputs omit those values; this does not retrospectively repair the history.
  • Complete bilateral eye closure at f36-37, the anatomy of the f203 micro-action, exact gaze trajectories, tiny camera/background movement, source editing mechanism and sound remain unresolved or unverified.
  • No analogous clear texture patch was resolved around the re-opened identity entrances, but the limited crop and the remaining corpus have not received an all-pixel texture-anomaly audit.
  • The missed-boundary repair is not a clean result. Recheck quiet same-setup holds, simultaneous multi-region changes and cross-boundary crop context across the entire in-scope corpus; that systematic review remains pending.

Source SHA-256: 1f1b8ae1ca11a8e6ea005ca6f13713372d82c1001f25a0b782132359695e8f07

Coverage is not completion

The two-year corpus is unfinished.

622 in-window videos were inventoried; zero have passed the strict full moving-footage review contract. Zero complete clean corpus passes. The collection cutoff is September 5, 2026 at 17:13:40.602033 UTC, not the end of that day.

The three pilots represent 1,194 consecutive frame previews across 43.367625 seconds of source extent. That is not moving-reviewed runtime: credited moving and listening runtime remain zero. The still reviews found missed details, including the one-frame caret return and the same-setup boundary shown here. Local repairs do not constitute a clean full-corpus pass.

No new editable reconstruction or rendered comparison is claimed by this addition. Access exceptions, unresolved classifications, inventory refresh, remaining footage and two consecutive complete source-first review passes remain outstanding. This register publishes the authored pilot notes; it does not claim every OpenAI video is covered.
