# Reproduce the caret renders

Use the combined kit and its pinned dependency lockfile. From `project/`, follow the two render commands in `examples/gpt54-caret-reset/README.md`. Set `REMOTION_BROWSER_EXECUTABLE` to your executable **full Chrome** binary.

The verified Linux binary was Google Chrome for Testing152.0.7977.42, SHA-256 `9a1fec86405041cdf16c9977d022130c4caf96da6d1a9a20b1767b4ae370e8f6`. HeadlessShell with the same reported version produced different pixels. A browser version string alone is insufficient. Other platforms and binaries are unverified, not automatically incorrect.

Both new full-Chrome movies equal the retained MP4 bytes and all44 RGB/YUV frames. This proves reproducibility of these two content variants, not source quality or native Resolve execution. The runtime dependencies were already installed; a clean installation was not tested.

The source player now uses the retained source ledger rather than CFR. No master was re-extracted. The old library README references a strict research excerpt that is not supplied in this bundle; use this page's separately linked restoration proof and retained static-review crop instead. Do not infer temporal source approval from the static tie/tie comparison.
